Infection and Immunity Seminar: Andres Ablasser: The role of the immunological DNA sensor cGAS in infection and disease
Foreign DNA is highly immunostimulatory, and activates several signaling pathways to promote both antimicrobial defense and inflammation. Andrea Ablasser has played a leading role in this rapidly developing field. In her seminar Andrea will give an introduction to this fascinating field, and will highlight her key findings and talk about some of her recent and unpublished results.
