Naveen Kumar Kadri: Methods for Association Mapping using Multiple Population Data

PhD defence, Friday 24 January 2014. Naveen Kumar Kadri.

[Translate to English:] Naveen Kumar Kadri

During his studies, Naveen compared different methods of association mapping in multiple population data. The methods were subsequently used to map genes controlling important traits in Nordic dairy cattle.
The new research findings contribute to the understanding of biology of trait variation and help in designing better breeding programs.
The PhD degree was completed at the Centre for quantitative Genetics and Genomics, Science and Technology, Aarhus University.
