Nordisk EMBL Partnership

The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is on of the world's leading research institutions, and Europe’s flagship laboratory for the life sciences – an intergovernmental organisation specialising in the life sciences, funded by public research money from 21 members states, including most of Europe and Israel, and two associate members, Argentina and Australia.

EMBL's mission is to perform basic research in molecular biology, to train scientists, students and visitors at all leverls, to offer vital services to scientists in the member states, to develop new instruments and methods and to actively engage in technology transfer.

2013

Europas flagskib inden for grundforskning i life sciences, EMBL, inddrager nu Aarhus Universitet som dansk partner. På Lundbeckfondens initiativ vil et nyt eliteforskningscenter, DANDRITE, udgøre de prestigefyldte rammer om international topforskning i neurovidenskab - og forventes at få en halv milliard kroner i ryggen.
