Would you like to become a Marie Skłodowska Curie fellow at our Department?

If you plan to apply through the Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Fellowship programme in September 2017 and you want to spend your postdoc at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, you should contact one of our faculty members within your field of interest as soon as possible.

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics is part of the “Marie Skłodowska Curie Master Class”, initiated by the faculty of Science & Technology with the intention to facilitate applications for Marie Curie - Individual Fellowships (post-doctoral fellowships). If this sounds interesting, you have the possibility to attend this 3-day workshop in May 2017, organized by the research Support Office at AU, where applicants will start writing the application, get introduced to Aarhus University and the city of Aarhus and have time to develop the research project in collaboration with their future supervisor.

All interested applicants are encouraged to contact a PI at the department as soon as possible. Faculty members and a list of research areas.

About the applicant: 

  • Can relocate to Aarhus from any country in the world
  • Must be in possession of a Doctoral degree at the deadline for the submission (September 14, 2017)
  • Must not have resided in Denmark for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline of submission (September 14, 2017)

Timeline:

  • February 1st 2017: Deadline for submission of applications to the “Marie Skłodowska Curie Master Class”
  • May 16-18, 2017: Marie Skłodowska Curie Master Class in Aarhus, Denmark
  • September 14, 2017: Deadline for submission of Marie Curie - Individual Fellowships application
  • Summer 2018: Postdoc Fellowship starts
