A new PhD student joins Plant-PATH

Plant-PATH is happy to announce that Frederik Bonderup Bech has officially started his PhD in Bjørn Pedersens group at Aarhus University.

Frederik is already a known face at Plant-PATH, as he has previously completed a bachelor project and molecular biology project at Bjørn Pedersen's lab. Plant-PATH are very happy to keep him as a part of our research team.

Frederik will start to work on auxin and gibberelin transport, supporting ongoing efforts in the group. In his own words:

In a time when agricultural systems are predicted to come under increasing pressure from climate change and the environmental consequences of modern agriculture are heavily debated, it is essential to develop improved crops, while limiting the environmental impact of agriculture. Considering these challenges, I am excited to contribute to improving the fundamental understanding of plant physiology, which hopefully can aid the development of better crops in the future.

We at Plant-PATH are happy to welcome Frederik as a part of the team.
