Plant-PATH researchers take part in the AUSBI Annual Symposium 2026
Plant-PATH researchers presented their work at the AUSBI Annual Symposium 2026, with poster presentations representing the research being carried out by two Plant-PATH groups, and a Best Poster Prize for MSc student Lissa Griem.
Plant-PATH members at Aarhus University were well represented at this year’s AUSBI Annual Symposium, held on Tuesday 14 April 2026. The symposium, organised by the Aarhus University Structural Biology and Biophysics Initiative (AUSBI), brought together researchers and students for a full day of interdisciplinary science spanning structural biology and biophysics, from the sub-molecular to the cellular scale.
The event featured presentations from both invited external speakers and researchers across Aarhus University, alongside extensive opportunities for networking and collaboration. A highlight of the day was the poster session, which showcased 56 research projects from across the community.
Plant-PATH was strongly represented, with posters presented by Alex Snow, Lissa Griem, Maria Bednarczyk, and Lucas Wilson. Their contributions reflected the breadth of expertise within the centre and its strong integration with structural biology and biophysics research environments at Aarhus University.
A special congratulations goes to Lissa Griem, MSc student in Bjørn Panyella Pedersen’s group, who was awarded the Best Poster Prize, an especially impressive achievement as this was her very first poster presentation.
The symposium once again provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, discovering new methods and approaches, and strengthening connections within the AUSBI network, supporting future collaborations across disciplines.
