Nominations for The Lundbeck Foundation's Research Prize for Young Researchers, 15 June

The prize is a recognition of a particularly promising scientist under the age of 40 who has conducted outstanding research in biomedicine or the natural sciences.

Candidates are proposed by senior researchers at Danish research institutions following calls for nomination. The Foundation’s Research Prize Committee selects the recipient in conjunction with external evaluators. The prize, which is a personal award of DKK 300,000, is awarded once a year. The recipient must be conducting research at a Danish research institution at the time of the award.

The prize cannot be applied for. Nominations are accepted from leading scientists at Danish universities or other research institutions via the Lundbeck Foundation's Electronic Application System before June 15th each year. Previous nominees may be re-nominated as long as they still meet the criteria.
