Villum Fonden - Young Investigator Programme Call

The Young Investigator Programme (YIP) is especially aimed at young talented researchers within the field of science and technology. The YIP provides a basis for the young researchers on which to establish their independent research profiles.

The programme consists of two tracks, namely the associate professor (AP) track and the postdoctoral (PD) track. The AP track targets associate professors who have gained tenure within the last three years. They may apply for DKK 7 million over a five year period.

The PD track, is designed for researchers at postdoctoral or assistant professor level with at least 1 year of postdoctoral research experience. The budget is DKK 4 million for a period up to 3 years.

Projects must be conducted at a Danish research institution. Foreign researchers must be attached to such an institution at the time of application.

Deadline for submission of application is July 1st 2012 at 24:00.
