ICT-AGRI 2nd Call for Transnational Research and Technological Development and Demonstration Projects
As coordinator of the “ERA-NET Coordination of European Research within ICT and Robotics in Agriculture and Related Environmental Issues (ICT-AGRI)”, the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation announces the 2nd call of this ERA-Net.
The Danish Council of Strategic Research (DSF) in conjunction with The Green Research and Demonstration Programme (GUDP), have earmarked € 1.5 million for this call. All participating countries and partners have set a side a total amount of € 6 million.
The focus of the “ICT and Automation for a Greener Agriculture” call is on innovations in the use of ICT and automation in primary agriculture. Projects are expected to develop and demonstrate feasible solutions with proven effects towards a greener European agriculture.
The call addresses the following 5 topics:
- Open farm management
- Enabling farming based on ICT and robotic machines
- Transfer of knowledge and solutions
- Interactions between farmers and public services based on ICT and automation
- Retrieval of knowledge from agriculture based on empirical data in farm management systems
To apply, interested researchers must establish a consortium of minimum 3 and at most 10 partners from ICT-AGRI countries.
Deadline for the prequalification phase is Monday 7th of May at 13:00 CET.
