On 3 September 2025, the Plant-PATH Center for Active Transport of Plant Hormones officially launched, marking an exciting milestone for the new Center of Excellence. Although the center has been active since May, the official event highlighted the collaboration and vision driving its research.

The day began with a kick-off meeting for center members, welcoming participants from Aarhus University, the Technical University of Munich, and Université Libre de Bruxelles. Members shared their research visions, held a steering committee meeting, toured the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics labs at Aarhus University, and took part in team-building activities.

In the afternoon, the center opened its doors for the official ceremony. Inspiring talks were delivered by Aarhus University leadership, the Danish National Research Foundation, and the center’s group leaders. The day concluded with a festive reception, celebrating both the launch and the collaborative spirit of the center.

The Plant-PATH Center extends its gratitude to the Danish National Research Foundation for supporting this Center of Excellence and to all members for making the day a success.

With the center now officially launched, and our first in-person, all-member meeting completed, Plant-PATH looks forward to continued collaboration, innovative research, and scientific discoveries in the transport of plant hormones.
