Associate Professorship at Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics

At the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University an associate professor position is available as soon as possible.

The successful applicant must have performed scientific research at an internationally highly competitive manner and have documented experience in structure-function analysis and biophysical analysis of proteins, recombinant protein expression, and directed evolution. The successful applicant must have ability to promote collaborative research among departmental researchers working with development of new principles for pharmacological intervention with pathophysiological functions of proteolytic enzyme systems. The applicant must present a plan for an independent line of research for the next 5 years. Applicants must have documented ability to attract external funding. Applicants must have experience in research supervision, including supervision of Master and Ph.D. students. Experience in pregraduate teaching will also be emphasised.
