As an Assistant Professor at the Translational Neuropsychiatry Unit, I conduct research in neuropsychopharmacology. I am particularly interested in the neurobiological mechanisms underlying substance use disorders and early-life adversity, with a focus on extracellular vesicle biology. I have a background in pharmacology and experience in behavioral pharmacology, experimental neuroscience and molecular biology.
My primary responsibility is to develop and conduct experimental research investigating the neurobiological mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders. My work includes designing and managing research projects, conducting and coordinating experimental studies, analysing scientific data, and supervising research students.
