The MBG Mass Spectrometry Research Infrastructure provides access to state-of-the art mass spectrometry for protein identification, characterization and quantification. The Mass Spectrometry Research Infrastructure does not have a dedicated MS instrument and is currently hosted by the laboratory for proteome analysis and protein characterization. The research infrastructure has access to several types of instruments and can provide analysis of individual proteins as well as full proteome studies. We prefer to be involved as early as possible in order for us to participate in the experimental setup to ensure compatibility and to increase the success rate of your project.
The facility is open to all research groups at Aarhus University as well as companies to a limited extent. Initially, all access will be based on collaborations with direct cost covered by the partner.
If you would like to hear more about the use of the Research Infrastructure or have a potential project, please do not hesitate to contact Carsten Scavenius (csss@mbg.au.dk). You can also contact the facility for consultation on mass spectrometry methods, sample preparation and data analysis.
