In collaboration with the Vienna Research Institutes of Molecular Pathology (IMP) and Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA), our team discovered a new pathway through which cells sort RNA molecules requiring degradation from the functional ones which are kept. Published this week in Nature, the project was spearheaded by Post-Doctoral researcher Andrii Bugai and PhD Student Ana Ines De Oliveira Lorenzo.
