MBG's studenterråd (MoGenS) giver følgende begrundelse for tildelingen af prisen:
A questionnaire was sent out to all the students attending classes at MBG and 141 answered. To ensure a fair statistic, 10 votes or more were necessary to receive a nomination for the two categories. We got a lot of good feedback for both, and among the lecturers it was a very close race. Therefore I would also like to mention Lars Sottrup and Lene Nejsum from the top.
The winner of lecturer of the year goes to a person who is always well-prepared and structured, and very good at presenting the curriculum for the students.

MBG's studenterråd (MoGenS) har følgende begrundelse for tildelingen af prisen:
Learning is not only improved by good lecturers, but also by skilled instructors, who help the students on a daily basis and also act out as role models.
The award for student teacher of the year goes to a person who taught two subjects this year and scored highest in both. We also had the pleasure of him as an instructor and know him as intelligent, helpful and well-prepared but just as important he is also funny and makes the classes a lot more interesting.
We are proud to give the golden pointer 2012 to Janus Asbjørn Schatz-Jakobsen.
